YALE LAW SCHOOL
Thanks to everyone for their support!
My speech at Yale was lots of fun… and pretty much the closest I’ll ever get to Yale Law School. I wrote a bit about the experience on Microcontent News, another site I maintain.
That’s a pic of the audience to the right there. It was a bit strange to talk over the tippy-tap of a dozen keyboards, knowing that at least that many people are blogging your speech to the web.

i’m not sure i’d be able to give a speech if people were tapping on their keyboards….but then again…if their attention wasn’t on me…it might actually be a better thing
i’m glad that it went well!
Maybe they *were* blogging your speech, but the thought of a bunch of Yalies “A/S/L”-ing each other in a conference room kinda makes me laugh
I’m glad you had fun.
the closest i ever got to yale was crashing a few yale parties then somehow wandering aimlessly around new haven looking for my friends.
its very impressive to have spoken at yale.
I’m pretty sure we would all be proud. Never cut yourself short john. Ok…If ur a really short dude or endowed poorly then I take that back.
Now. I’m gonna let ya in on a new xanga feature secret. It’s called blocking. It’s that damned seanmeister you should try it out on first. Not me…
I bet ya dimes ta donuts he has a way to unblock.
I want minutes from ur speach. I never could see a follow up on this subject at ur udder site. Course I’m alf blind.
That doesn’t look like you were speaking to a class at Yale – it looks like you went straight to the House of Representatives! Glad all went well
I zoomed in on one of the lap top screens!! That guy in the dark top is lookin at porn!! Sheesh!
Now to make it easier… did you have to imagine the people nude? *shutters*
~wondering how many people are gonna check out the the monitors to look for the porn sites….~
As for as blogging in “real-time”, over a year ago, I was blogging and video-camming on Xanga down a U.S. interstate in “real-time” (satellite upfeed) and toreibjo, from Norway, was instructing me, via comments, to “turn left”, “turn right”–haha, what’s more “real” than that?!
Hi John,
Thanks for visiting my site and congrats on the Yale gig.
The problem I’m having with the “now playing” feature is that the search engine doesn’t appear to be working. Everything I type in pulls up zero results. I’m assuming it’s a problem on Amazon’s end, but just in case, there’s your response.
Cool!!!
Life has come full-circle when you give a speech and it may find itself appearing on Xanga…
