It’s Alive!!!
You may have seen this elsewhere, but some big news… the missus is pregnant!
This is our third try at creating life! It’s been very depressing having two miscarriages… so it was exciting to make it out of the first trimester (we’re at week 13).
Keep your fingers crossed for us, will ya?

I feel you sweetie. I had three miscarriages before I had three children. I remember when I was pregnant with my son, I kept telling my doctor that he didn’t need to bother with this or that because I probably would miscarriage anyway. He kept doing all the checking and stuff and then I made another comment about losing the baby and he grabbed my shoulders and shook me and said, “We don’t lose babies here, shut up.” So I shut up and had a baby boy.
Congratulations! A friend of mine, also on Xanga, recently found his wife was pregnant again. They had issues with miscarriages as well. Lucky and blessings to you beautiful people who want nothing more than to be good parents.

RYC: Oh of course. Like I’ve been saying, I’m not pushing the issue; but I did want to mention it in the entry because I was interested. Have I been pushy about it…?
Being able to have an objective opinion in regards to events is important; but I feel the editor’s job should be to weigh in on the featured entries; rather than weigh in on anything else. In that light, I feel it’s possible for an editor to carry on both a professional and private lifestyle here on these weblogs.
But that would also come down to the community being able to trust in the editor.
That all being said!
You and I are in complete agreement: what’s needed is a better relationship between the editors and the userbase. I’m willing to contribute any ideas I might have to helping make your current position in the matter easier. If you want, I can also go around and talk to everyone who’s been having issues; and putting together a list of issues that should be looked at?

@jassmine - i think you should be able to unsubscribe/unfriend from someone xanga just the same as you subscribe- right on their page. a toggle, same as windows.. to start or stop- click start button.
