I just came across this comment on my last post – it’s one of my all-time faves!
Xanga… like woah. It rocks my face off. AOL… we should blow up the AOL webmaster’s house, with a bomb made out of a toothpick and some duct-tape. Hey, it’s possible.
Go xanga. Woop woop. Hey we need a xanga cheer that all “xangians” should learn and shout down the streets of their town. No no, we should MAKE a town called “Xangaville”. That would be stellar. Then we wouldn’t have to have a computer… we could just write posts on our driveways with sidewalk chalk. That way, when people want to read other’s entries, they could go running or on a walk/jog whatever… everyone would be in shape, and still xanga-ing. I heard there is plenty of land in the ocean. wait…
anyways, all of these ideas are wicked cool and I think you should consider them, I’m so for serious.

I love it! We are definitely considering the “Xangaville” concept. We could have paperboys and girls deliver printed copies of the hometown paper, the Daily Subscription Digest.
This could be huge!

And I don’t know about blowing up the AOL Webmasters house with a toothpick and duct tape (although it IS a good idea), I say we just dump a truckload of all the crappy “TRY AOL FREE FOR 9754 Hours!” CD’s that they send to my house on his roof! Just drop them! …from about 100 feet… CRASH!

I’d suggest Xangaville needs to erect some kind of dike to stop all these DOS attacks. Or raise our town above sea level in some manner.
hae i have a little.. web question. Uhm.. have u ever heard of boomspeed? It gives you a free webpage building place? Yah well.. all the images i uploaded to there, aren’t showing up now.. on my xanga. O.o is it possible they’re doing what AOL’s doing? *shrugs* a lil confused..

Xangaville would be… interesting
I had a dream like that once, when I was deep in the throws of my addiction. In my dream we all had stores. It was more like a mall. I remember going into James’ store and being pissed off that I hadn’t known about it in time to set up my own store. People were selling e-props and stuff.
i’m in for sure. xanga-ville sounds grand.
lols. wow. yeh that would be nice. and another thing would be nice to xanga is..
alot of people are feening for props. making ALOT of people dislike them. so they wanted to, or me, wanted to give in a suggestion in making 2 options for posting entries. one is to Enable Props and one if to Enable Comments. alot of xangans just wants props and alot just want comments. why not just set 2 options ? and if they want both then you enable both. i hope im not confusing you but this is a suggestion. im tired of those people who only leaves comments like “props” and not like a PROPER comment of my entry. my point is, if you or xanga can, make 2 options for posting our entries. i suppose this can also attract more people into xanga or make them stay using xanga. alot of them are leaving because of this

So what’s going on? I noticed that all your sites were down this weekend – cyberstalker! – so I guess they’re all on the same servers and all went kaput. Is there some sort of alternate site that you could set up, and I mean just something cheap and easy, that you could set up so we’d have somewhere to go to find out what’s going on, if xanga’s going to come back, etc?
Because until xangaville is established, a “site not available” message is all we get.
