HOUSECLEANING
Along with all those Look and Feel features we released last Friday, I let a few bugs slip into the mix.
Please accept my apologies! We just fixed the bugs:
- The Background Images & Music Wizard wasn’t generating the proper html for Xanga Classic users
- If you didn’t leave eprops for someone, the servers assumed you were leaving Zero Eprops
It’s all fixed now. At least, I hope so… please test it out and let me know how we did.
Oh and while you’re at it: you can add back your traffic counters and birthday countdowns. We added the list of Trusted Javascripts that we talked about a while back (i.e. Sitemeter, OKCounter, Bravenet, Netstat, Web Site Traffic Report, Hosted Scripts, YESCounter, and Jippy.com).
I’d like to point out that testing the YESCounter code required some heroic guestwork by me and Monsur, since the entire site is in Korean. Hats off to the founders for creating a site so usable that you don’t even need to speak the language to use it.
If you could test this Trusted Javascript thing out for us, we’d be much obliged. I know it works for the counters that I signed up for, but perhaps it doesn’t work for other people’s code. Let us know how it works for you.

Hi John, this is great; I popped over to send you a message about a problem I think quite a few of us are having and you’re already welcoming our rants!
The problem’s with Tag Board. It doesn’t appear to be one of your approved javascript sites, which is probably why none of them seem to be working at the moment. I thought it might be something at their end, but now I’m wondering….
I know that you’ve got a ton of things to be dealing with, so I’ll make my rant as painless as possible for you…
As a mac user, I’m already sitting in the xanga backwoods on occasion, so I’d really appreciate it if you’d make this user feel a bit more appreciated by sorting out our Tag Boards!

Dear John, I know the skin design in premium are good, I also use one of them, howver, I want to stop using it now as it can’t play the background music. I tried to unclick the “edit mode” from the site but get no effect, please revert my site to the original one, thanks.
